Job summary

Concord Hospital is seeking a Patient Services Associate to greet and screen patients along with providing wayfinding support for visitors and staff. You will be the first friendly face, guiding people as they enter the hospital and directing inquiries to the appropriate resources.

The role requires at least one year of customer service experience, excellent communication skills, and comfort with computer applications. This on-site position supports hospital programs and daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience dealing with the public.
• Competent with computers and Microsoft platforms.

Responsibilities

• As the first point of contact, creates a polished and positive first impression in welcoming patients, visitors and employees entering Concord Hospital.
• Screens all patients, visitors and staff entering the building as appropriate and directed by Administration.
• Provides way finding assistance for patients, visitors, vendors, or staff, either in person or on the telephone.
• May push patients in wheel chairs to their destination within the hospital.
• Acts as an informational resource to patients, visitors, vendors, and staff either in person, telephone, or via e-mail.
• Supports the department's special programs and initiatives.
• Participates and engages in department and division activities.
