Geisinger Lewistown Hospital is seeking a Food Service Manager to lead and oversee the continuous improvement of the standard Foodservice operating model within the facility. You will provide staff leadership, make sound business decisions, and ensure high-quality food and service for patients, visitors, and staff.

The role emphasizes driving safety, patient experience, and value, with collaboration on dashboard metrics and regulatory compliance.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 3 years in managerial or supervisory roles.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant food service experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manages departmental budgets including capital, projects, supplies, and operations.
• Ensures food is handled, packaged, stored, and disposed of per federal/state regulations and proper documentation.
• Assesses resources and advises on staffing levels, products, and equipment.
• Performs HR duties: interviewing, hiring, staff development, corrective actions, and engagement needs.
• Leads quality improvement initiatives: training, auditing, inspecting, and reporting.
