Job summary

WellSpan Health in York, PA is seeking an experienced Food Service Manager to direct all facets of the department, including menu planning, budgeting, inventory, and staff supervision, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance for patients and visitors.

This full-time role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 3 years in food service administration with supervisory experience, and ServSafe certification within a year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 3 years experience in food, nutrition or food service admin including cafeteria-related supervisory techniques.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Certified ServSafe within 1 year required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes and directs activities of the Food Services Department and Atrium Café.
• Ensures delivery of quality nutrition and food services, meeting regulatory standards.
• Develops policies and methods for food production and cost management.
• Provides guidance in dietary planning and daily menus with senior nutrition leadership.
• Oversees procurement of foods and supplies from vendors.
• Ensures sanitation and safety standards in kitchen and storage facilities.
• Manages department budget within approved limits.
