Geisinger is seeking a Food Service Operations Manager to oversee the department's budgets, staffing, and compliance with food safety regulations within a healthcare setting.

You will lead HR activities, drive quality improvement, and develop dashboards to monitor performance while coordinating with vendors and subcontractors. A customer-centered approach and strong computer skills are essential.

• Experience managing budgets and staffing in a food service setting.
• Knowledge of federal/state regulations for food handling and safety.
• HR responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, and staff development.
• Strong quality improvement, auditing, and training capabilities.
• Ability to generate reports and establish SME status in food service and compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee department budgets including capital, projects, supplies and operations.
• Ensure food handling, packaging, storage, and disposal per regulations and documentation.
• Advise staffing levels, products, and equipment needs for the department.
• Perform HR duties: interviewing, hiring, staff development, and corrective actions.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives: training, auditing, inspections, and recommendations.
• Collaborate on dashboard metrics to track operations and improvements.
• Promote safety culture, hand hygiene, patient experience, and employee engagement.
• Coordinate scheduling and supervise subcontractors and vendors; handle on-call emergencies.
• Prepare general and technical reports; establish SME in related areas.
