Mass General Brigham is seeking a food service associate for North Shore Medical Center. The role involves preparing and serving a variety of foods in a fast-paced environment, under direction. You will set up floors, maintain safety standards, and assist in kitchen operations.

Required is a high school diploma or equivalent, with 2–3 years of food service experience. Ability to lift and operate cleaning and cooking equipment is essential.

Formación

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Experience can be used in lieu of a degree.
• Food service experience 2-3 years required.
• Knowledge of supplies, equipment ordering and inventory control.
• Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects.

Responsabilidades

• Sets up food service areas, checks temperatures and prepares areas for daily operations.
• Conveys food and supplies from kitchen to serving site, using cart or by hand.
• Sets up hot and cold food lines and maintains proper temperatures.
• Prepares or assists in preparing hot/cold dishes, beverages, salads, sandwiches, and simple bakery items.
• Serves food to customers and ensures correct portions and garnishes.
• Restocks foods, utensils, condiments; maintains clean work areas and equipment.
