The position requires 3 years as a cook or 5 years in culinary arts, with a high school diploma or equivalent, and onsite work at 81 Highland Avenue. Rotation shifts and 20 weekly hours are noted.

Qualifikationen

• Three years as a cook or five years in preparation and Culinary Arts experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills which may be obtained thru on the job training.

Aufgaben

• Assist the Chef and Senior Cook in the preparation of all food.
• Read, understand, and prepare any recipe without direction.
• Prepare meats, fish, soups, sauces, and vegetables using acceptable methods.
• Serve food for hospital staff and guests at events, including tray display with garnish.
• Participate in cafeteria display and delivery to service areas.
• May serve on patient tray line or operate cafeteria grill as needed.
• Proficient in using quick chill and re-therm equipment.
• Maintain sanitation of all prep surfaces on a clean-as-you-go basis.
• Perform other related tasks as directed by the Chef.
