Job summary

Mass General Brigham's North Shore Medical Center seeks a cafeteria worker responsible for preparing, serving and cleaning up meals across stations. You will maintain sanitary food temps, restock items and assist with cashier duties as needed.

Onsite shift supports patient and staff dining in a fast-paced environment. Required basic English and computer skills, with a high school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Basic English communication skills to understand and speak for safe, efficient performance of job responsibilities.
• Basic computer skills enabling on-the-job training.
• Ability to read, write and communicate routine information.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves meals at multiple stations and prepares beverages.
• Maintains temperatures of food and refrigerators.
• Restocks supplies and keeps work areas clean.
• Greets customers promptly and assists with cashier duties.
• Attends in-service meetings and performs other duties as assigned.
