Job summary

Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Food Service Worker to support patient dining, cafeteria, and kitchen operations on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:15 AM to 7:45 PM.

You will prepare, assemble, and serve meals, maintain sanitary standards, and provide friendly customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. If you value teamwork and reliability, this role offers hands-on experience in a hospital food service setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Previous food service, hospitality, healthcare, or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend department meetings, in-services, and training sessions as assigned.
• Provide excellent customer service by anticipating needs and resolving concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, food stations, and department equipment.
• Follow all HACCP food safety and sanitation standards.
• Communicate concerns, discrepancies, equipment issues, and product shortages to leadership.
• Serve food and beverages to customers; deliver meals to patient rooms as needed.
• Set up, stock, and replenish food stations for meal service.
