Job summary

Spaulding Hospital Cambridge is seeking a Per Diem Food Service Worker to support our patient meals and hospitality program. You will lead junior staff, ensure recipes are followed, and maintain food presentation. This is an onsite, per diem position in the Mass General Brigham system.

The role requires flexibility, ability to stand long hours, and experience in food safety; ServSafe is preferred. Per Diem daytime shifts are available with competitive compensation and benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 5–7 years of directly related food service experience preferred.
• ServSafe Food Handler Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assign and monitor work to ensure items are prepared on time.
• Ensure items are prepared per recipes and methods.
• Present food at proper temperature with garnish.
• Maintain cleanliness and storage of preparation equipment.
• Assist in organization of refrigerators and storage areas.
