TouchPoint in Carmel, IN is seeking a full-time Food Unit Lead to coordinate activities of fellow food-service staff and ensure a pleasant dining experience for customers, staff and visitors.

The role includes supervising food preparation and serving, assisting with menu planning, and enforcing safety, sanitation, and portion control. Rotating shifts are required; at least 2 years of food service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of previous food service experience required.
• Full-time schedule with rotating days and hours.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Oversees and participates in preparation and service of food and beverages per standards.
• Helps plan menus.
• Ensures timely, efficient meal service and supervises serving of meals.
• Trains employees and coordinates work to promote efficiency.
• Maintains daily/weekly/monthly reports including inventory and payroll.
• Directs sanitation and safety compliance.
• Develops sanitation schedule and ensures adherence.
• Maintains sanitation and safety standards.
