Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 4 to lead the patient dining department at Medstar Washington Hospital Center. You will direct total dining operations, guide a large team, and ensure service excellence in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

This executive role requires strong budgeting, regulatory compliance, and partnership with hospital leadership to continually improve the patient experience and meet financial goals while delivering compassionate, high-quality nutrition services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 2-5 years management experience
• 2-5 years related experience
• Proven experience in food service management or directorship
• Leadership with a track record of building positive team culture, employee retention, and staff development
• Financial expertise including budgeting, cost control, and performance analysis
• Effective communication and collaboration to work cross-functionally and maintain client relationships
