Job summary

Allegheny Health Network Environmental Services is seeking an Environmental Services Associate to maintain floors and support cleaning operations across patient areas. You will operate automatic floor machines, burnishers, extractors and related equipment, while adhering to safety, infection control, and waste handling protocols.

Responsibilities include linen removal, trash collection, stocking, and assisting with special projects.

Qualifications

• Experience operating floor care equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of listed floor machines and cleaners preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform major floor cleaning, including stripping, refinishing and burnishing.
• Operate and maintain floor care equipment and clean tools after use.
• Follow safety and infection control policies, including PPE and waste handling.
• Assist with linen removal, trash pickup, stocking supplies, and miscellaneous tasks.
• Participate in special projects like window washing or moving furniture as needed.
• Keep closets and supplies organized and maintain a clean work area.
• Demonstrate professional behavior and comply with department goals.
