Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a dedicated environmental services teammate to perform standard cleaning in patient rooms, offices, and support areas, following established procedures.

Responsibilities include high dusting, sanitizing, waste removal, stocking supplies, and maintaining clean storage areas while adhering to safety and HIPAA policies. This role emphasizes accuracy, reliability, and teamwork in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Strong reading, writing and communication skills.
• Ability to operate power equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Follow proper cleaning procedures in all assigned areas, including dusting, sanitizing and waste removal.
• Perform trash/soiled linen pickup, stocking supplies, and maintain par stock.
• Return equipment to proper location and keep storage areas clean and orderly.
• Adhere to safety, infection control policies, PPE usage, and hand washing.
• Participate in facility programs, training, and performance improvement.
• Other duties as assigned or required.
