Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Three or more years of admissions and/or collections experience in a hospital setting.
• Psych experience preferred.
• Experience in billing, accounting or related field.

Responsibilities

• Fields patient account inquiries and explains charges and payment options.
• Acts as the financial case manager for inpatient assigned patients.
• Provides patients with cost estimates prior to admission and guidance on paying for services.
• Liaises between the hospital and patients to facilitate payments and resolve issues.
