Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Finance Specialist to support the hospital CFO in monitoring financial performance and providing insights to leadership. You will collaborate with operational leaders to ensure access to reporting and training for informed decisions and align hospital processes with corporate finance policies.

You will prepare monthly financial data, participate in budget validation, and run profitability and capital reports using Tableau and Strata.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in finance or accounting.
• 3 years in the healthcare industry, hospitals or providers.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, statistics, or related field (OR) 6 years of related and progressive experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree

Responsabilités

• Populate standard financial and volume data for monthly reports and presentations to leadership.
• Track and approve position requests with Workforce Management.
• Support Kronos reporting and align productivity standards with hospital operations.
• Liaise between clinical and operational managers on purchasing and invoicing; train new managers.
• Run profitability reports from Tableau/Strata and summarize variance; support analytic needs.
• Collaborate with budget teams to validate budget assumptions and submissions.
• Document and track capital requests and align with AHN Capital Plan.
• Other duties as assigned.
