Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Maintenance Trades Specialist III (HVAC) to support Northern Illinois AMG clinics (Lake Zurich and surrounding sites). This full-time, first-shift role requires daily travel within the Northern Illinois region to service and repair complex facility systems.

You will perform preventive maintenance, read blueprints, and operate building automation and plant equipment. A technical credential, valid driver's license, and 4+ years of related experience are required, with

Qualifications

• 4+ years in industrial or trades maintenance.
• Advanced technical skills with minimal oversight.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience with building automation and facility systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on complex facility systems.
• Diagnose and fix utility and infrastructure systems.
• Install/maintain building, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and controls.
• Operate and monitor equipment like generators, boilers, chillers; use BAS.
• Read blueprints and Life Safety drawings to complete tasks.
