Job summary

Waverly Health Center seeks a skilled maintenance technician to keep hospital facilities and systems reliable. You will perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building repairs, and support safety and infection control practices.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, driving license where applicable, and proven ability to work under pressure, with strong organization and independent work habits. Training on building systems and safety protocols is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair HVAC controls and equipment to maximize efficiency.
• Perform urgent and routine repairs of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems; test equipment.
• Replace, install, repair, and test electrical circuits, equipment, and lighting.
• Maintain records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Perform manual duties such as moving supplies and replacing light bulbs.
• Assist with building repair including doors, windows, flooring, and painting.
• Read blueprints and maintain knowledge of fire alarm and safety systems.
