Trinity Health is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic (HVAC) for our facilities services to maintain and repair hospital mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and alarms. The role requires reading blueprints, using hand and power tools, and supporting new installations.

Work involves rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed. The successful candidate will have at least five years of trade experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and formal trade school training or

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent plus formal trade/vocational school training or five years related experience.
• Completion of apprenticeship preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide emergency response to hospital mechanical systems.
• Perform general plumbing functions.
• Perform general HVAC functions.
• Carry out routine preventive maintenance and repair on utility systems.
• Support construction/renovation project installations.
• Maintain and clean maintenance areas and mechanical rooms.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings for installations.
• Operate and maintain power tools and equipment.
• Install plumbing systems (water and sanitary piping).
• Replace and rough in water closets, sinks and showers.
