Job summary

Providence Holy Cross Medical Center is seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to provide maintenance services across the service area. You will repair electrical equipment, HVAC controls, plumbing, carpentry and painting under the Facilities Manager’s supervision.

The role requires a 2-year trade school credential and 5+ years in commercial/industrial maintenance, plus a California Fire and Life Safety Card within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Trade school graduate with vocational training in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, welding or related fields.
• Proven ability to perform maintenance and repairs in commercial/industrial buildings.
• California Fire and Life Safety Card required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment, air conditioning controls, plumbing, drain snaking, carpentry and painting.
• Work under the supervision of the Facilities Manager to maintain service area facilities.
• Support hospital, hotel or high-rise building maintenance standards with safety and quality.
