Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 5+ years in electrical/mechanical field (technical training is desirable).
• Able to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and specifications.
• Valid NC driver’s license with good driving history.

Responsibilities

• Provides services with consideration of the physical, psychosocial, cultural/spiritual, and age specific needs of those served.
• Prevents system failures by ensuring proper preventive and corrective maintenance programs are established and functioning properly.
• Provides necessary direction to rectify adverse situations or conditions.
• Uses equipment and supplies correctly; performs safety checks on equipment; conducts preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other hospital equipment.
• Follows safety and infection control policies; participates in training and wears PPE as required.
