Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital -Savannah is seeking a Director of Plant Operations to oversee facility management, maintenance, and utilities at our Savannah location. The role leads administrative and technical teams, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations aligned with hospital objectives.

Under the CEO, you will supervise the department, participate in safety and infection control committees, and drive a robust Quality Control Program to uphold Environment of Care standards and

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in provision of maintenance, environmental services, and related services in a hospital environment.
• Knowledge of JCAHO/OSHA regulations and standards required.

Responsibilities

• Planning, directing, and supervising all administrative and technical aspects of the department.
• Developing, reviewing, and managing the activities of self and other personnel in the department.
• Actively participating in hospital committees impacting the department, with responsibility on Safety and Infection Control Committees.
• Establishing and maintaining a Quality Control Program.
• Maintaining Environment of Care and OSHA standards per Federal, State and local guidelines.
