Job summary

Right Hire Consulting LLC is seeking a Director of Plant Operations to oversee all maintenance activities in a hospital environment. You will lead a maintenance team, develop policies, and coordinate with departments to ensure safe and efficient operations.

You will manage building systems, ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA/JCAHO/NFPA), and plan for capital projects and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 5 years plant ops experience with 3+ years in leadership (healthcare preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Certification: HWC within 45 days of hire; CHFM and OSHA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage maintenance team including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluations.
• Develop and implement maintenance policies, procedures, and schedules.
• Coordinate with hospital departments to minimize disruptions and ensure seamless operations.
• Oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems maintenance and upgrades.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
