Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking a Manager Facilities Management to assist the department Director with daily operations and maintenance. The role requires coordinating with physicians, nurses, and vendors to uphold professional relationships and a positive department image.

The Manager will monitor costs of supplies and equipment, ensure asset control, and lead a team in delivering reliable facility services across the hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of High School or the equivalent preferred (Certificate or diploma from a trade school)
• 4+ years of skilled experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, to include electrical, air conditioning and plumbing training, in a hospital, hotel or manufacturing plant
• Experience communicating with physicians, nurses and other hospital staff in a professional manner

Responsibilities

• Assist the department Director in the performance of departmental operations and maintenance functions
• Foster cooperative working relationships and promote a positive image of the department to outside personnel
• Manage awareness of costs of supplies and equipment and control hospital assets
