Mercyhealth seeks an Environmental Services Associate to perform comprehensive cleaning and sanitation across patient rooms and facilities. You will follow infection prevention standards, maintain supplies, and coordinate with departments for special projects.

The role requires adherence to safety protocols, proper chemical handling, and prompt response to supervisor calls. Experience in healthcare cleaning and ability to operate EPIC is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Previous cleaning experience helpful.

Responsabilités

• Responsible for thorough cleaning of assigned areas including furniture, tile, fixtures, windows, sinks, tubs, mirrors, showers.
• Perform high and low dusting, mop floors, clean elevators and stairs, wipe door frames and ceilings.
• Adhere to organizational policies and procedures and infection prevention standards.
• Maintain EVS closet, EVS cart, and all equipment in neat order.
• Replenish paper, soap supplies, and hand sanitizer; hang cubicles/drapes per policy.
• Move furniture and equipment following safety procedures; coordinate with departments for special projects.
• Mix and store chemicals correctly to achieve the proper dilution; use PPE as needed.
• Respond to supervisor within 5 minutes; log out of EPIC when complete.
