Qualifications

• Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures and floor care techniques.
• Ability to safely handle biohazardous and infectious waste.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment maintenance and usage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning schedules.
• Good communication skills to interact with staff, patients, and visitors.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Performs floor care tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waxing, and shampooing surfaces to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Collects, removes, and disposes of waste following hospital policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Handles and processes soiled linens, replacing them with clean bags and proper containment.
• Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, restrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas.
• Responds to spills and contamination cleanups with proper disinfection and safety precautions.
• Moves furniture, floor mats, and other equipment as needed for cleaning or department relocations.
• Monitors cleaning supply usage and ensures safe storage.
• Communicates maintenance and repair needs to the supervisor or facilities department.
• Maintains cleaning logs and reports completed tasks.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
