Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in environmental services, housekeeping, custodial work, or hospital facility maintenance required

Responsibilities

• Performs floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waxing, shampooing to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Collects, removes, and disposes of waste, including biohazardous materials, following policies and guidelines.
• Handles soiled linens, replaces with clean bags, and stores them properly.
• Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, restrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas per infection control standards.
• Responds to spills and contamination cleanups with proper disinfection and safety precautions.
• Moves furniture, floor mats, and equipment for cleaning or maintenance needs.
• Monitors cleaning supplies usage and ensures safe storage and usage.
• Communicates maintenance/repair needs to supervisor for timely resolution.
• Maintains accurate cleaning logs and documents completed tasks.
• Performs other duties as assigned and maintains regular attendance.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
