Responsibilities

• Performs floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waxing, and shampooing.
• Collects and disposes of waste, including biohazardous materials, per policy.
• Handles soiled linens and replaces them with clean bags.
• Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Responds to spills and contamination cleanups with proper disinfection.
• Moves furniture and equipment as needed for cleaning or relocations.
• Monitors supply usage and ensures safe storage.
• Reports maintenance and repair needs to supervisor.
• Keeps accurate cleaning logs and documents completed tasks.
• Performs other duties and maintains regular attendance.
• Complies with all hospital policies and standards.
