Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in environmental services, housekeeping, custodial work, or hospital facility maintenance.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and floor care techniques.
• Ability to follow infection control guidelines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, restrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas.
• Performs floor care: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waxing, shampooing surfaces.
• Disposes of waste per hospital policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Handles soiled linens, replacing with clean bags and proper containment.
• Responds to spills and conducts contamination cleanup with proper disinfection.
• Moves furniture, floor mats, and equipment as needed for cleaning or maintenance.
• Maintains cleaning logs and reports completed tasks.
• Communicate maintenance needs to supervisor or facilities.
• Maintains regular attendance and complies with policies.
