Job summary

United Hospital Center is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services worker to maintain clean and orderly patient areas and facilities. The role involves cleaning patient rooms, restrooms, corridors and equipment, with emphasis on safety, sanitation, and adherence to established procedures.

You will be responsible for restocking supplies, making beds, and reporting any maintenance issues to the supervisor. This is a 40-hour weekly, non-exempt position based in Bridgeport, West Virginia.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and ensures assigned areas are clean and in good repair; report problems to supervisor.
• Cleans patient rooms, exam rooms, public areas, toilets, procedure rooms, OR rooms, offices and equipment per procedures.
• Removes trash from all areas.
• Replenishes paper towels, toilet paper, and soap to maintain supplies.
• Makes beds in discharge and on-call rooms per procedures.
• Maintains equipment in clean, working condition and reports issues to supervisor.
• Moves equipment, furniture, and cleans walls and carpets as assigned.
• Follows all safety and sanitation regulations.
