Job summary

TouchPoint is seeking an Environmental Services Manager for a 200+ bed acute care hospital. You will lead second and third shift EVS operations across patient care areas, public spaces, and support departments while ensuring a clean, safe environment that supports patient care and infection prevention.

You will supervise EVS associates, develop staffing plans, manage budgets, and coordinate with hospital departments. Strong leadership and healthcare sanitation knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading EVS operations in hospital/healthcare settings.
• Strong budgeting, staffing, and productivity skills.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and healthcare sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage second and third shift Environmental Services operations across patient care areas, public spaces, offices, and support departments.
• Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate EVS staff and leads.
• Develop staffing plans, work schedules, assignments, and workflows.
• Ensure proper cleaning and disinfection of patient rooms and clinical areas.
• Conduct quality audits to evaluate cleanliness and safety.
• Manage budgets, expenditures, and operational metrics.
• Coordinate housekeeping with hospital departments and act as liaison.
• Provide ongoing associate education on infection prevention and safety.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA and other regulations.
