Job summary

Bronson Healthcare is hiring an EVS Associate for Kalamazoo on a part-time basis (64hr/pp - 1p-930p). Under supervision, you will maintain environmental standards, clean patient rooms and public areas, stock supplies and support infection control.

High school diploma not required; English proficiency and strong customer service are essential. External candidates may receive a sign-on bonus up to $375 and a retention bonus of $375.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently.
• Must be able to communicate in English (at or above the 8th grade level) with departmental staff and internal and external customers.
• Must possess interpersonal skills that represent Bronson in a positive and professional manner.
• Must exhibit excellent customer service skills, thoroughness and time management skills.
• Must be able to comfortably accept delegation and negotiate task priorities.
• Work which produces levels of mental/visual fatigue typical of jobs with frequent deadlines; may operate cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms, occupied and unoccupied, public areas, surgical areas and other assigned spaces.
• Restock supplies and communicate with the registered nurse and patient care staff.
• Operate cleaning equipment and maintain cleaning standards per departmental procedures.
• Follow safety regulations and HIPAA confidentiality requirements and protect patient privacy.
