Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a part-time Environmental Services Associate at Big Rapids Hospital to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across patient rooms and hospital areas. The role requires evening shifts and a 20-hour weekly schedule.

You will disinfect, stock, and dispose of linens and waste, and collaborate with hospital staff to ensure safe, clean spaces. Previous customer service exposure in healthcare environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Public service and/or customer service experience in a hotel, hospital, environmental services, or janitorial experience.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and disinfects patient rooms, offices and ancillary areas according to established procedures.
• Removes linens and waste; ensures proper disposal.
• Maintains and restocks equipment and supplies as needed.
• Communicates and collaborates with team to ensure continuity of service.
• Assists visitors and employees in navigating the hospital.
• Works within one cleaning area; may cover other sites as needed.
