Job summary

Bronson Battle Creek Hospital is seeking an Environmental Service Technician to help maintain a clean and infection-controlled environment. You will sanitize patient rooms, public areas, and surgical zones, stock supplies, and ensure equipment is in good working order.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and excellent service to patients and staff, with rotating weekends and holidays and a 2nd shift. A drug-free workplace is emphasized and training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is not required for this position.
• Able to follow safety and cleanliness guidelines and work with a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, public areas, surgical areas, and other spaces as assigned.
• Stock supplies and keep equipment clean and in working order.
• Follow safety and infection control guidelines to ensure the hospital is always clean and safe.
• Provide excellent service to hospital staff and patients.
• Operate cleaning equipment and coordinate with supervision to meet quality standards.
