Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to work well under time constraints and to work effectively as a team member.
• Ability to courteously greet and exchange information with patients, visitors and staff while performing housekeeping tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assembles cleaning supplies and equipment; transports them to work areas as instructed.
• Cleans assigned areas using a variety of housekeeping duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, washing, and polishing.
• Prepares cleaning solutions per label instructions.
• Performs routine discharge room cleaning and remakes beds with fresh linen.
• Notifies supervisor of needed repairs.
• Cleans and stores equipment; logs tasks per policy.
