Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a part-time environmental services technician for weekend days at 15 Francis Street, Boston. The role covers Saturday, Sunday and Holidays from 7AM to 3:30PM, ensuring safety and cleanliness of the hospital environment.

This position does not involve direct patient care. The job requires prior experience with hospital cleaning equipment and chemicals, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to support infection

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
2-3 years experience with cleaning equipment in hospitals or healthcare centers.

Responsibilities

Sweep, mop, wax, strip and polish floors; vacuum and shampoo carpets.
Dust and polish furniture, woodwork, fixtures, and equipment.
Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, door panels, windows, sills, blinds, and door glass.
Empty, clean and sanitize waste receptacles in assigned areas.
Clean and sanitize restrooms and fixtures; replenish supplies as needed.
Pick up debris around the building.
Operate high/low speed stripping/buffing machines.
Set up tables, chairs and equipment for events and activities.
Identify and report building maintenance needs in assigned facilities.
