Job summary

Mass General Brigham in Boston is seeking a Per Diem Environmental Services team member for the evening shift (2:45PM-11:15PM) at 55 Fruit Street. Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe hospital environment and performing a range of EVS duties to meet infection prevention and safety standards.

Per Diem schedule; onsite work. The role requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2–3 years of hospital cleaning experience; strong organization, teamwork, and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred; degree not required.
• 2-3 years of experience with cleaning equipment used in hospitals/healthcare settings.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team; strong organizational skills.
• Good communication and comprehension abilities.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, strip, wax, and polish floors; vacuum and shampoo carpets.
• Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, equipment, and surfaces.
• Wash walls, ceilings, windows, blinds, and door glass.
• Empty, clean, and sanitize trash/receptacles; clean/restroom facilities.
• Disinfect restrooms; replenish supplies; report maintenance issues.
• Operate and maintain floor care equipment; set up spaces for events.
• Follow infection prevention and safety protocols.
