Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a dedicated Hospital Cleaner to ensure a safe, clean environment at 66 Blossom Street. The role covers floors, surfaces, and restroom sanitation with emphasis on high standards of cleanliness for patient areas and staff facilities.

Shifts are weekends and evenings (2:45pm–11:15pm) with onsite work and 16 hours per week. Candidates should have 2–3 years hospital cleaning experience and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience with hospital cleaning equipment and chemicals (2-3 years required).
• Strong organization skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently but also be a team player.
• Good communication and comprehension skills.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wax, strip and polish floors; vacuum and shampoo carpets.
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Clean walls, ceilings, windows, and doors; replenish supplies.
• Sanitize restrooms and dispose of waste; report maintenance needs.
• Set up spaces for events and activities as required.
