Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an Environmental Services Aide at 55 Fruit Street in Boston to maintain a clean, safe hospital environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• 2-3 years experience with hospital cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Strong organization skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and comprehension skills.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wax floors and clean carpets.
• Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, equipment and surfaces.
• Wash walls, ceilings, windows, blinds and glass.
• Empty and sanitize trash and waste receptacles.
• Disinfect restrooms and replenish supplies.
• Remove debris and maintain exterior cleanliness.
• Operate floor care equipment and buffers.
• Set up tables, chairs, and equipment for events.
• Identify and report maintenance and safety issues.
• Follow infection prevention and safety protocols.
• Interact professionally with patients, visitors, staff with customer-service focus.
