Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Dispatcher to receive and dispatch requests for assistance within the Southwest hospital system. The role coordinates Patient Escorts/Transporters and supports patient transport operations across shifts.

You will handle calls, monitor CCTV, maintain logs, and ensure accuracy and safety while delivering timely service. A high school diploma is required and registration with the Texas Private Security Board within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience as a dispatcher or scheduler preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and follow instructions; basic computer skills needed.

Responsabilités

• Disseminates information via telephone, radio, alarms, or CCTV.
• Prioritizes and assigns calls based on urgency and staff availability.
• Maintains computerized logs and reports; ensures accurate records.
• Supports patient safety and departmental standards, within budget and time constraints.
• Acts as mentor/resource to less experienced staff; participates in ongoing training.
• Other duties as assigned.
