Job summary

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with patients, physicians and hospital staff daily.
• Gains knowledge of Medicare coverage guidelines and documentation requirements including CMNs.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals and procedure documents.
• Proficient in writing routine reports and correspondence.
• Able to speak before groups of customers or employees.

Responsibilities

• Stock vehicle daily with equipment, disposables, paperwork, and marketing literature.
• Make rounds to contact case managers at each facility to identify discharge equipment needs.
• Coordinate with centers to schedule home setup of equipment for O2 discharges.
• Explain coverage criteria to case managers and patients.
• Complete setup paperwork daily for delivered equipment.
• Assist with CMNs and chart notes required for billing.
