Job summary

externallincarecareers is seeking a Liaison to coordinate oxygen portability equipment delivery and setup for patient discharge. You will educate hospital staff and patients on insurance criteria, documentation, and available programs to facilitate timely discharge.

Daily duties include stocking vehicles, contacting case managers, and ensuring paperwork is completed for each setup and billing needs. Strong communication and reading comprehension are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documentation and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Stock vehicle daily with equipment, disposables, and paperwork.
• Contact case managers daily at facilities to identify discharge needs.
• Coordinate home setup of equipment with centers throughout the day.
• Explain coverage criteria to case managers and patients.
• Prepare setup paperwork for all equipment delivered.
• Gather CMNs and chart notes as required for billing.
