Sentara Health is seeking a Full Time Courier for the Day shift based at Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton, VA. The role features a Rotating-Flexi shift, with one weekend per month. Duties include picking up and delivering deposits, medications, equipment, supplies, x-ray films, lab specimens, letters and packages.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, and a valid Driver License. No prior courier experience is required, though 1 year of courier experience can substitute

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Driver License.
• 1 year Courier experience in lieu of High School Education

Mansioni

• Picks up and delivers items such as deposits, medications, equipment, supplies, x-ray films, lab specimens, letters, marketing materials and packages.
• Operate vehicle safely, keep vehicle clean and well maintained; maintain vehicle safety logs and submit requests for vehicle maintenance/repairs in a timely manner.
• Tracks lab specimens, reports, supplies and all barcoded items.
