Sentara Health in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Flexi Time, rotating shift Courier based out of Sentara Park. You will pick up and deliver deposits, medications, equipment, supplies, x-ray films, lab specimens, letters, marketing materials and packages, maintaining vehicle safety and cleanliness.

No prior courier experience is required, though 1 year of courier work can substitute for high school education.

City/State: Virginia Beach, VA Work Shift: Rotating Overview: Sentara Health is currently seeking a Flexi Time, Rotating shift, Courier based out of Sentara Park in Virginia Beach, VA. Picks up and delivers various items such as deposits, medications, equipment, supplies, x-ray films, lab specimens, letters, marketing materials and packages. Required to operate vehicle safely, keeps vehicle clean and well maintained; maintain vehicle safety logs and submit requests for vehicle maintenance/repairs in a timely manner. Tracks lab specimens, reports, supplies and all barcoded items.

Education: High School diploma, or Equivalent Certification/Licensure Driver License Experience: None required 1 year Courier experience in lieu of High School Education.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $18.70 - $27.19 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
