Sentara Health in Virginia Beach, VA is hiring a Full-Time Courier for a Day shift at Sentara CarePlex Hospital. You will pick up and deliver deposits, medications, equipment, supplies, x-ray films, lab specimens, letters and packages, with rotating weekend coverage.

A valid driver's license and a High School diploma are required. The base pay ranges from $18.70 to $27.19 per hour, with potential additional compensation such as shift differentials or overtime.

Work Shift Rotating Overview: Sentara Health is currently seeking a Full Time, Day shift, Courier based out of Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton, VA. Rotating-Flexi shift, one weekend per month. Picks up and delivers various items such as deposits, medications, equipment, supplies, x-ray films, lab specimens, letters, marketing materials and packages.

Required to operate vehicle safely, keeps vehicle clean and well maintained; maintain vehicle safety logs and submit requests for vehicle maintenance/repairs in a timely manner. Tracks lab specimens, reports, supplies and all barcoded items.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $18.70 - $27.19 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
