Sentara Health in Virginia Beach, VA is hiring a Full-Time Courier for a Day shift at Sentara CarePlex Hospital. You will pick up and deliver deposits, medications, equipment, supplies, x-ray films, lab specimens, letters and packages, with rotating weekend coverage.

A valid driver's license and a High School diploma are required. The base pay ranges from $18.70 to $27.19 per hour, with potential additional compensation such as shift differentials or overtime.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver license required.
• 1 year courier experience may substitute for High School education.

Responsibilities

• Picks up and delivers deposits, medications, equipment, supplies, x-ray films, lab specimens, letters and packages.
• Operate vehicle safely and keep it clean, maintained and logs up to date.
• Track lab specimens, reports, supplies and all barcoded items.
