Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Part-time Courier for the second shift in Chesapeake, VA. The role involves transporting deposits, medications, equipment, supplies, x-ray films, lab specimens, letters, and packages.

Qualified candidates are high school graduates with a valid VA driver’s license, able to lift up to 50 lbs and sit/drive most of the shift. The schedule is Wed-Fri 12pm to close, with flexibility for other shifts as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid VA driver’s license required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and sit/drive for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Transport deposits, medications, equipment, supplies, x-ray films, lab specimens, letters and packages.
• Proficient at completing 25% of daily routes with flexibility to cover all three shifts as needed.
• Operate vehicle safely, maintain cleanliness and safety logs; request vehicle maintenance when required.
