Job summary

Sentara Health in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Part Time, second shift Courier based out of Sentara Park in Virginia Beach. Hours are 5:15 PM to 1:30 AM on Saturdays and Sundays.

You will pick up and deliver items including deposits, medications, equipment, supplies, x-ray films, lab specimens, letters, and packages. Requires safe driving, ability to maintain logs, and basic vehicle maintenance; 1 year courier experience preferred; benefits include medical and retirement plans; Sentara emphasizes

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• 1 year courier experience in lieu of High School.

Responsibilities

• Picks up and delivers deposits, medications, equipment, supplies, x-ray films, lab specimens, letters, marketing materials and packages.
• Operate vehicle safely, keep vehicle clean and well maintained; maintain vehicle safety logs and submit requests for maintenance/repairs.
• Tracks lab specimens, reports, supplies and all barcoded items.
