Thomas Cuisine is seeking a part-time hospital cook in Chicago, IL. You will prepare nutritious meals for patients, staff and visitors in a collaborative kitchen, following dietary guidelines and safety standards to support patient recovery.

The role includes helping with cooking, washing dishes, and cleaning dining rooms, with a schedule of 6am-1pm or 12pm-7pm across Tue-Sun; the team prides itself on quality, REAL foods, and positive impact in healthcare.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ServSafe Certification required.
• State Food Handlers Card required.
• Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Review menus and assemble items for preparation.
• Follow standard recipes and production sheets to produce nutritious, high-quality meals.
• Assist with cooking, dishwashing, and cleaning dining rooms as needed.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures in all kitchen activities.
• Assist with training new Food Service personnel.
