Responsibilities

• Prepares, seasons and cooks foods for cafeteria or patient rooms.
• Reviews menus and production schedules to determine quantities and timing.
• Prepares food following standardized recipes and procedures for food production.
• Maintains clean, sanitized preparation areas and uses proper food labeling and temperature logs.
• Documents leftovers and logs production records, noting amounts prepared and leftover.
• Participates in job-related training and in-service education.
