Job summary

Chicago Behavioral Hospital seeks a PRN Cook to prepare nutritious meals for patients and staff, following approved menus and production sheets. You will work approximately four shifts per month, ensuring safety, portion control, and appealing presentation.

Qualifications

• Must have at least two years' experience in quantity cooking.
• Basic knowledge of modified diets; food handler permit required.
• Experience with industrial kitchen equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals for patients and staff per approved menus.
• Ensure meals meet portion, taste, and presentation standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen.
• Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Monitor and inventory food and supplies.
• Assist with dietary needs and requests.
• Collaborate with Dietary Aides and Nutrition team.
